In Louisiana, we make king cakes. In France, where everything in inexplicably fancier, there's the galette de rois! While everyone can get down with the traditional sugar-topped king cakes we know and love, we figured we'd shake things up with this traditional almond-flavored French pastry. Joy the Baker will demonstrate how to make a galette de rois from scratch, and each attendee will leave with their own galette to take home or to bring to their next parade pre-game!
